Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Athena is a 2 year old sweetheart. She was found living in terrible conditions, chained up in a pile of scrap metal and other items, tangled up with her best friend, Phoenix. Since being in our care, she has been spayed, microchipped, fully vaccinated, treated for fleas, ticks, and worms. Athena is such a darling and deserves a new home and family. We are so happy we are able to provide her a second chance at a better life. She would love to be adopted with Phoenix, but can go separate. Athena is house broke, dog friendly, child friendly, very playful, rides excellent in the car, loves bones, toys, and tug of war. Phoenix doesn't do well with cats so we suspect she wont either. She has not been cat tested with us.

I'm Your Huckleberry Rescue, Inc. is a 501(3)(c) non profit corporation located in Pineville, MO. Incorporated in 2017 with the goal of finding permanent homes for lost, injured, abandoned and surrendered dogs and cats in Mc Donald and Newton counties. All animals are given a health check, vaccinations, heartworm test and neutered before being placed. Currently consist of a network of foster homes.
