My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Introducing Princess Peach! This sweet, petite Princess is an affectionate, adorable girl. Doting and mellow, this little one really is "pretty as a peach."

PEACH'S STORY:
Neglected and abused, Peach was rescued by a Good Samaritan who saw her emaciated, flea-ridden body. Her fur was dull and her ears were full of ear-mites. She was in poor shape and needed to be saved. The Good Samaritan was a high school classmate of mine (Peach's foster), and after hearing her story, we knew we couldn't say no to intaking Peach. She was adopted in Dec 2021 but then was returned due to no fault of her own when her adopted family had sudden, unanticipated medical issues. She is waiting for her Forever patiently.

PEACH'S PERSONALITY:
Princess Peach boasts a gorgeous black-velvet coat, bright, beautiful eyes, and a sweet, adoring personality. If you're looking for a cat who will "imprint" on you and dote on you, that is Peach. She may not be a big fan of crowds or strangers, she will loyally show affection to "her person." She is especially a mama's girl and enjoys curling up on blankets to help you read books or cuddle for the night. While she may have the shy "girl next door" stereotype at first, she will open up and treasure her person until the end.

She is a quiet, affectionate girl who is a little bit of a wallflower since her return to Foster Care. She is the purr-fect companion for a mellow-vibes household with someone who will give her the patience and space she needs to heal after being surrendered.

Peach is a beautiful, attentive, and affectionate girl, and will be an excellent Princess for her true Forever Family.

Weighing right below 7lbs, she is a petite, dainty little darling who is low maintenance and looking for a mother to love her dearly.

Peach is spayed, up to date on vaccinations, and microchipped. She tested negative for FIV and FeLv. If you would like to meet her, please submit your app!

More about this rescue

The Humane Society of Oldham County is the areas first no kill animal rescue. We run a top notch spay\neuter clinic, rescue and find loving homes for homeless or abused animals in our area, monitor and care for feral cat colonies including TNR. We also help the community through our many programs including Kentucky State Reformatory(KSR) Camp K9 where dogs are housed with professionally trained, monitored, nonviolent inmates to socialize and train our adoptable dogs to be highly adoptable and have good basic skills. A wonderful program for the inmates and our dogs.
