Hey there! I’m Bandit, some people in One Love may refer to me as “Apollo Creed” as that was my original name when I was first with this nice group about 4 years ago! I was adopted as a puppy but unfortunately those humans didn’t understand how big I was going to really get so I ended up back in my foster home in August. I am a Great Pyrenees mix so I’m a big (about 85 lbs!) and strong boy! I have a few dog friends at my foster home, but sometimes I have to go in a time out bc I get some overly excited and forget I can hurt smaller pups! I don’t mean too I just want to play! I can be nervous around people so I prefer quieter environment’s and to have my own space. I’m not really a fan of young kids and prefer to be with the adults! I really would love a lot of land to wander or someone who is super active. I live on some property now and I follow my foster dad around and help him do yard work and I love it! My ancestors were considered working dogs and I like to follow in their footsteps! I also can be very vocal, it’s also a trait of my breed. My breed is pretty special so I would love it if you read up on all of my nreeds funny quirks to make sure I’m the right pup for you! I do need reassurance at times and am afraid you aren’t going to come back, but after some time I will trust you. At my foster home I have my own room I stay in and play with my toys while my foster parents are at work all day. I’m not too sure about a crate unless it was really really big! I ride in a car well and am always up for an adventure! I really love it at my foster home but I am ready for my new family!! Oh and don’t worry I am 100% housetrained! I hope to meet some of you soon!!

More about this rescue
The mission of One Love Animal Rescue, Inc. is to help abandoned, neglected, abused and unwanted pets by partnering with shelters, rescue groups and the community to facilitate adoption of these animals into permanent and loving homes.
Our goal is to save one life at a time by promoting local animal shelter adoptions and raising awareness in our community about responsible pet ownership. We strive to highlight the importance of spaying or neutering pets which will aid in the reduction of overpopulation. We believe that appropriate and positive reinforcement training and socialization of these shelter animals will lead to well-adjusted family pets, thereby decreasing the number of abandoned animals in shelters. Our dream is that one day all the shelters will be empty because every pet will have a home.
One Love Animal Rescue, Inc. is a volunteer based organization located in Savannah, Georgia. We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit and all donations directly benefit the animals entrusted in our care.
