If a goofball that will keep you entertained is what you seek, Chonk is waiting for you!!! Chonk is a 1 year old husky mix. Not sure of the mix but looks to be some shepherd in there too. Chonk is an active dog as with any husky so he’ll need an active home to keep him busy. Chonk is pretty vocal when he plays with other dogs, some find it intimidating but he does well with most. He did great when he met the cats, even after one went after him, so he could live with a dog savvy cat. He keeps a very neat kennel. This handsome guy came to us after he was dropped off at the exes house and she isn’t allowed to have animals. Any husky lover will fall madly in love with Chonk!! To come adopt him we are open Wednesday thru Saturday from noon to 4 for visits. To adopt same day go to our website spfldhumane.org to fill out an application to get preapproved. Please contact your vet to give them permission to speak to us.
