March 2024: Check out Leia's new professional photos

Leia is GORGEOUS!!! She's also super soft because of the mix of her parents. She will be 9 months old on March 6th and has so much potential to do it all- Agility, Fast CAT, Obedience or just being the best family pet and companion. We are looking for a home that has a playful buddy for her and she absolutely needs a safe fenced in yard. It would be nice to keep her in the Chicago area.

February 2024: While Luke has found his forever home, Leia is still waiting. She is about 7-8 months old and around 50lbs and such a love. Luke's adopter did DNA testing on him and the results show German Shorthair Pointer and Great Pyrenees as we guessed. Leia needs a playful buddy for her happiness and we are looking for an adopter in the Chicago area and a fenced in yard is mandatory. She is just the best puppy!!! So playful and so beyond affectionate!! She favors her Great Pyrenees side as her foster dad reports she is a mellow puppy instead of the more hyper GSP side. What could be better?? Leia even went on her first road trip and did great meeting the new dogs at her weekend retreat. Surprisingly she has been in our program over 3 months now and we haven't found the best adopter yet-- but I know she is going to find the greatest home soon. We just love her!!!

October 30, 2023: Luke and Leia were found as strays running at large in Will County, IL. They are about 5.5- 6 months old and are going to grow to be maybe 55-60lbs as adults. As they have double rear dew claws, I am thinking they could be Great Pyrenees mixed with English Setter, perhaps German Shorthair Pointer or English Pointer and maybe Labrador.
