Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Through no fault of his own, 9-year-old Bordeaux is back at FAAS for his second long stay. It breaks our hearts to see him grow ever older in a kennel. His once-red-wine-hued coat has now turned a distinguished gray, but Bordeaux has lots of love left to give!
A senior who likes his peace and quiet, Bordeaux would prefer a home with no small pets or toddlers. On walks, this sweet boy is well-mannered, never pulling unless he spies a small critter. (SQUIRREL!)
Bordeaux's foster dad says he's "a great senior dog who appreciates treats and a soft spot to nap!"
He also says Bordeaux:
"* Greets people gently. Once he knows you, he gives you plenty of kisses.
* Walks gently on leash--though he often decides where HE wants to walk.
* Loves to be near his human.
* Loves to nap outside in a sunny spot.
* Knows sit, shake, spin, down and rollover. He’s a very smart boy.
* Can be left alone uncrated in the house with no issues. He’s 100% house trained. No accidents."
Bordeaux would make a great work-at-home companion. THERE IS NO ADOPTION FEE. An admirer has already paid it so you don't have to.
Come start your sweet adventure with Bordeaux by meeting him any afternoon but Monday at FAAS, 1590 Fortmann Way in Alameda, California.
