Meet Xavier! Xavier came to us in July of 2023 as part of a humane investigations situation and has been patiently waiting to be able to be made available for adoption -- and now he has! He is a very sweet boy, who is very talkative and is still learning his leash manners at 7 years old -- due to this, he does wear a harness and is harness trained. Xavier would do best in a home with children 13 and up, and could potentially live with another dog, pending a successful meet & greet.
Xavier is also a part of our SCI Fayette Training Program, which means he is currently residing off campus at the Fayette State Correctional Institution where he is living with selected inmates. While there, Xavier enjoys enrichment activities, positive reinforcement and force-free training. Basically, he lives full time with his new best friends and learns manners to better prepare him for you--his future family!
