Bella was adopted in July of 2022, dumped as a "stray" in a different state by said adopters over Labor Day weekend 2023. That day her life changed forever - for the better!! Bella is now fostering with a fabulous family, has two foster doggo brothers who she adores, but she's ready for her next adventure.
From foster mom: "She's been us for about 12 days now and is really coming out of her shell. She is a typical young girl, playful, adventurous, lovable, and occasionally mischievous. Her last adoptive home failed her by neglecting her and not doing much with her so we are working on some manners such as jumping and counter surfing, but everyday she gets better and better. Bella is a beautiful chocolate brown with a coat that glistens in the sun, does know basic commands but we are working on her leash training. She shows no aggression around her 2 older foster brothers (dogs), has lived with cats and a young kid in the past, no separation anxiety, she's crate and house trained. She is medium energy level and loves her car rides."
Bella had a playdate at another foster's home and had a wonderful time zooming around the yard, chasing and being chased by 7 other dogs who thought she was the class clown! She loves every human, every dog, and just wants a happy home like every dog deserves. We're glad to report she seems to have no recollection of her previous miserable life, she's just the happiest dog ever to have the freedom she now enjoys.

FOSTER EVALUATION AND RECOMMENDATION:
Dogs: Yes, fostering with other dogs of various sizes, genders and breeds
Cats: Yes, she lived with a cat at her previous home. Slow intros needed of course to any new cats
Other Small Animals: Unknown
Children: Yes, she lived with a toddler and did well. However, she is bouncy and excitable at times, could potentially knock over a little one.
ADOPTION INFORMATION:
We are a foster-based animal rescue and we thank you for your interest in one of our animals. Our fosters and adoption coordinators are the backbone of what we do. Our fosters work tirelessly to integrate our rescue animals into their home, so that we can provide as much information to potential adopters as possible. In addition, our coordinators offer as much information regarding the medical and behavioral and personality characteristics as is known to our organization. Without them, and our extremely generous donors, we would not be able to save as many animals as we do every day. With each adoption, we operate a Pay It Forward program, whenever possible, to help other animals in our rescue and future animals in need.
