This is Akira, a 1 year old Flat Coat Retriever/German Shepherd Mix who is in desparate need of a home. His owner is in the military and leaving San Antonio, Texas on Friday, October 27. He will turn him into our very high kill shelter at that time.

I was just made aware of the situation. Akira is an extremely friendly and family pet who loves kids. Her pet companion Halligan is also availabile for adoption.
