My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Joseph is a handsome fellow born in July of 2023.  Joseph really likes to be with people and has plenty of energy to keep up with all your adventures. Easy to bathe, Joseph will be happy to look good when you walk him around the neighborhood. Joseph likes to play with other dogs even though he wants to be sure they know he is the king. Joseph will be a loyal companion for some lucky person. How about you?

More about this rescue

Formed in 2008, Cinderella Pet Rescue was established to rescue animals from abuse, neglect and abandonment and to help prepare the for adoption. Additionally CPR promotes spay/neuter to reduce the serious homeless pet crisis in the Rio Grande Valley of South Texas. An all volunteer organization, there are normally between 55 and 65 dogs at our no-kill shelter as well as a couple dozen cats. Even more pets are placed in foster homes in preparation for adoption. Not funded by anyone, Cinderella Pet Rescue counts on donations and fundraisers to support the needs of the animals in care, from food to veterinary treatment. More volunteers and foster homes are always needed.
