My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Mr. Darcy, a pup who spent a critical year of his life in the shelter, unable to meet potential adopters but something extraordinary happened. Recently, Mr. Darcy crossed paths with a 9-year-old kid, and their connection was nothing short of magical. This sweet pup showed his true colors and proved that he is ready to be a loyal and loving companion. It's amazing how a simple encounter can change lives forever!

But us tell you a little bit about Mr. Darcy's impressive skills. This smart boy knows sit, paw, down, place, touch, and probably more because he's just that quick to learn! Mr. Darcy has a playful side too. He loves to engage with toys and will bring endless joy to your home. He's working hard to overcome any fears or anxieties he may have had in the past. It's truly heartwarming to witness his transformation and see him grow more confident each day.

Mr. Darcy is also a proud member of our exclusive "Rescue Me" program. This program provides additional training to our shelter dogs, setting them up for success when transitioning to their forever homes. And the best part? As a "Rescue Me" member, Mr. Darcy comes with free lifetime training from our friends at Good Dog Enrichment and Training. They are generously donating their time and expertise to help our shelter dogs thrive!

Adopt Mr. Darcy today and experience the unconditional love of a rescue dog!
