Meet Ness: A Survivor with Soulful Eyes

Ness's journey to Camp Companion began through our trap-neuter-return program, where he arrived in tough shape, his entire body covered in ringworm scabs. Despite his rough start, Ness has been a shining example of resilience and perseverance. His ringworm baths have provided some relief, but his journey to recovery has been a slow and steady one.

This poor sweet boy may be shy at first, but his gentle nature and soulful eyes tell a story of strength and hope. He's a true rescue in every sense, and it will take someone special to appreciate the depth of his journey.

Ness has been in our rescue for two and a half years, loving life in his foster home and blossoming into a loving companion. He gets along well with other cats and enjoys the company of his feline friends.

Now, Ness is eagerly looking for a forever family to call his own, where he can continue his journey with love and compassion. Are you ready to open your heart to this survivor with soulful eyes?

Our adoption process involves completing a one-page adoption application. Applications are processed within 48 hours.

Adoption fees for cats/kittens are $130.00. All cats/kittens have been wormed, altered, tested for feline leukemia, given age-appropriate vaccinations, and are microchipped.

Adoption fees for dogs/puppies are $300.00 All dogs/puppies have been wormed, altered, tested for heart worm, given age-appropriate vaccinations, and are microchipped.

We also offer our Senior for Senior program matching senior animals to people over the age of 63. Adoption fees are waived for this program.

More about this rescue

Camp Companion is a 501c3 organization established in 2003.

Based in Rochester MN, the organization is totally driven by volunteers.

Camp Companion is dedicated to providing low-cost spay and neuter services for feral, farm and stray companion animals. The organization is funded solely by donations, fundraisers, grants, and adoption fees. All funds we receive are used for veterinary expenses and the cost of care incurred for the animals waiting for their forever homes.

Through our spay / neuter efforts, we encounter kittens and stray domestic cats that need rescue services and a forever home. We have no shelter, but rely on foster homes to care for these rescued pets. Every animal we offer for adoption is spayed or neutered.
