Meet Annabelle: A Resilient and Independent Beauty

Annabelle's journey began in a truly extraordinary way. Found encased in a ball of dirt on planter equipment during spring planting, she was just days old. After being cleaned and receiving medical attention, she was bottle-fed around the clock and given careful care. Born around May 7, 2018, Annabelle has since grown into a healthy and independent cat.

Annabelle enjoys interaction on her terms, often initiating it with affectionate "head bops." She loves under-chin rubs but prefers not to be held or carried. Occasionally, she'll rest on your lap when she feels comfortable. Annabelle hasn't been exposed to children, so she would thrive best with an experienced cat owner who understands and respects her body language. She would also do well as the only pet in the home.

With a calm demeanor, Annabelle loves to relax on her cat tower, watching birds and enjoying the tranquility. She is accustomed to having a pheromone diffuser in the home to help maintain her calm and relaxed state.

Our adoption process involves completing a one-page adoption application. Applications are processed within 48 hours.

Adoption fees for cats/kittens are $130.00. All cats/kittens have been wormed, altered, tested for feline leukemia, given age-appropriate vaccinations, and are microchipped.

Adoption fees for dogs/puppies are $300.00 All dogs/puppies have been wormed, altered, tested for heart worm, given age-appropriate vaccinations, and are microchipped.

We also offer our Senior for Senior program matching senior animals to people over the age of 63. Adoption fees are waived for this program.

Camp Companion is a 501c3 organization established in 2003.

Based in Rochester MN, the organization is totally driven by volunteers.

Camp Companion is dedicated to providing low-cost spay and neuter services for feral, farm and stray companion animals. The organization is funded solely by donations, fundraisers, grants, and adoption fees. All funds we receive are used for veterinary expenses and the cost of care incurred for the animals waiting for their forever homes.

Through our spay / neuter efforts, we encounter kittens and stray domestic cats that need rescue services and a forever home. We have no shelter, but rely on foster homes to care for these rescued pets. Every animal we offer for adoption is spayed or neutered.
