For Adopt a Pet and the PEDIGREE® brand, October is all about finding homes for dogs in shelters. Adopt this month for a PEDIGREE® Wet Food Pouch and a chance to win a Homecoming-style photo shoot and shelter donation.
Keeya is SO playful, loving, and SO thankful to be in a home! She loves people of all sizes, and her favorite thing to do is give big wet kisses to everyone she meets. The joy and excitement she has when her people come home in indescribable! She is great with kids, and lets my son hug, cuddle, and play. In the morning she'll jump in his bed for some wake-up kisses! She has been approached by kids on bikes and scooters, and has shown no reaction as well. She will pull and grumble at dogs on a walk, but is pretty much dog friendly! She tries to play with our 2 small dogs, but would do better with dogs her size as she love to play, and does not know her own strength. She is house trained, lets you know when she has to potty, and does very well in her crate. Sometimes she'll nap in her crate with the door open. She loves to run in the backyard, and absolutely LOVES squeaky toys! This girls has a lot of energy and wants to play play play!! She would do best with an active family that gives her these opportunities often! She takes treats gently. She knows how to sit, and is working on not jumping when she's so excited.
For anyone looking for a lost pet or considering adoption or fostering, we encourage you to make regular visits to the shelter. Please note that this website is updated every 24 hours and may not include all the animals available at CARE STL.
