**Meet Simone: The Independent Fierce Lady**

Simone is not your average cat-she's an independent and fierce lady with a personality all her own. While she may be young, she knows exactly what she wants and isn't afraid to make it known.

This feisty feline is best suited for a home without children, other cats, and perhaps even dogs, as her exposure to them has been limited. Simone marches to the beat of her own drum and prefers the company of those who understand and respect her boundaries.

While she may come off as aloof, Simone does have a soft side. She enjoys affection, but on her own terms. Whining or growling may be her way of expressing her desire for attention, and she's not afraid to use her claws or give a gentle nip to make her point. However, when it's her idea, she'll happily accept some pets and cuddles, especially if she's perched on your shoulder as you walk around the house-a favorite pastime of hers.

Despite her quirks, Simone has the potential to be a great companion for the right person or family. With patience and understanding, she's slowly learning that life isn't so bad after all, and she's eager to find a forever home where she can continue to grow and thrive.

Our adoption process involves completing a one-page adoption application. Applications are processed within 48 hours.

Adoption fees for cats/kittens are $130.00. All cats/kittens have been wormed, altered, tested for feline leukemia, given age-appropriate vaccinations, and are microchipped.

Adoption fees for dogs/puppies are $300.00 All dogs/puppies have been wormed, altered, tested for heart worm, given age-appropriate vaccinations, and are microchipped.

We also offer our Senior for Senior program matching senior animals to people over the age of 63. Adoption fees are waived for this program.

Camp Companion is a 501c3 organization established in 2003.

Based in Rochester MN, the organization is totally driven by volunteers.

Camp Companion is dedicated to providing low-cost spay and neuter services for feral, farm and stray companion animals. The organization is funded solely by donations, fundraisers, grants, and adoption fees. All funds we receive are used for veterinary expenses and the cost of care incurred for the animals waiting for their forever homes.

Through our spay / neuter efforts, we encounter kittens and stray domestic cats that need rescue services and a forever home. We have no shelter, but rely on foster homes to care for these rescued pets. Every animal we offer for adoption is spayed or neutered.
