Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Location: Spirit Lake, IA
Hello! My name is Arthur, a.k.a Artie or Art the Fart. My best quality you ask, my ears. They are so big and soft everyone loves them. I also will steal your heart with my adorable head tilts. What can I say? I'm irresistibly charming! I am a very sweet boy who loves to play and be with the humans. I came from a home with cats, who I loved to chase- but apparently they were not fans. I really do love small animals, but I am too intrigued and get too excited where I don't understand the size difference. I am not any sorts of aggressive towards them, but I play harder than they can handle and struggle with my boundaries around them. I would do best in a home with dogs similar to my size. I was in a foster home with 2 dogs my size and I loved running around the yard and playing with them. I thoroughly enjoy toys - all kinds of them. Give me a bone, I will chew on it. Give me a stuffed toy, I will show you how fast I can get the stuffing out. Throw me a ball, you bet I'll be bringing it back to you for more. I've also recently discovered tug of war with my foster siblings and parents and it is awesome! I am overall house trained, but have had some accidents in my kennel. I have a tendency to drink ALOT of water, so my foster mom monitors my intake before bedtime. I will gladly go in my kennel for you with a treat. My leash manners need a little work - but I know sit, stay, down, shake and wait. I don't dig or try jump fences. Like what you've heard? I'd love to give you a chance to be my best friend and show you how much love I have to give.

The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org).
Adoption fee includes spay/neuter, all age-appropriate vaccinations (distemper, rabies, and bordetella), heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, heartworm test (dogs), FIV/FeLV test (cats), dewormed, and microchip implant (including registration).
Rescue Network is strictly foster based which means all adoptable animals are in a home and there cannot be a meet until an application is submitted and approved. We have no way of knowing the breeds in the animals. All breeds listed are best guess."
