Sally is a sweet, loving 5 year old girl who likes to go for walks, is good with other dogs and is treat motivated. She is adventurous and a little mischievous. She can be shy but she looks for the people she knows to get her out of trouble. She can jump and climb so a yard with a tall fence is important, but apartment living is perfect for her.
Sally does great with other dogs and cats but does guard her crate/food. She also wanted to play with the cat, but the cat wanted nothing to do with her. Sally is scared of little kids, but older kids are probably fine. She was anxious when crated, so she will need to be slowly acclimated to using a crate. She is super snuggly, silly and loving.
Sally would do best with a family that has some dog experience, who likes to take walks or hikes as well as cuddle on the sofa at night. Having another dog in the home would be a big plus.
Sally is spayed, microchipped and UTD on vaccine. Sally was rescued from a hoarding situation.
Applications are being accepted and qualified applicants will be contacted.
