Meet Gebo, the ultimate good boy!

The big thing that stands out about Gebo is how much he LOVES PEOPLE. He lives for meeting people, snuggling people, sitting in laps, spooning, etc! He is a very goofy guy that brings so much joy and laughter into our home. We are so jealous of whoever gets to keep him forever.

Gebo is very food and snuggle motivated, making him a quick learner who excels in training exercises! He takes treats gently and will sit and wait until you say "free" to start eating.

In the morning, Gebo loves to get under the covers for a snuggle session. He's also a cuddle fight enthusiast and will drop everything for a belly rub.

During playtime Gebo is hyped, but most of the day he is a cuddly couch potato. He is a frisbee champion!

Gebo may do best in a house where he is the only dog or with an older, calmer companion that isn't bothered by his playful energy.

Because he doesn't understand his size he may do best with older kids. He takes treats very gently, but loves to lick faces and is working on off.

CARE STL welcomes adopters to either come by the shelter or fill out an adoption application online to save some time at the shelter. The purpose of this application is to gather information about your home, pets, and general lifestyle to help our Match-Makers determine if the pet you wish to adopt is a good fit for both you and the pet.

CARE STL is a 501c3 nonprofit organization that serves as the established, No-Kill animal shelter for the City of St. Louis Animal Care and Control. We provide animal regulation services and help the city enforce Title 10 of the City of St. Louis Ordinance relevant to animal care and control; however, CARE STL also enforces and embraces the No-Kill equation and follows the guiding principles of no-kill shelters.
