Dj vu came to us extremely wary of humans and would seek refuge in high or protected spots. Over time, however, she has become more curious and social, and while not fully trusting, has shown more confidence and social skills around people. Her jackpot treat is rotisserie chicken, for which she will reliably come out to grab. Her eyes are mesmerizing and they will surely draw you in, asking if you are the one with the patience and love to help her assimilate to life outside the shelter. Come in to meet her and fall in love!

If the interview goes well we will check any landlord or military housing before sending the pet home. Once confirmed the pet is allowed we will send the pet home.

Palmetto Animal League is a private, non-profit, No Kill animal rescue organization that believes every animal deserves a second chance at life.

PAL’s Adoption Center, located in Okatie, South Carolina, serves as a temporary residence for approximately 200 dogs and cats while they wait to find a loving home. Our comfortable, upbeat facility is also home to PAL’s Community Clinic, which offers wellness exams, vaccines and other vital services to pet owners at affordable prices.

In addition, Palmetto Animal League manages a network of loving foster families to house and care for abandoned animals.
