Age: Almost 3 years old (still young enough to have plenty of energy and love to give!)

**Rescue Story**
Layla's journey began in July 2022 when she was rescued by a Good Samaritan. This petite beauty was spotted multiple times over a month, including on neighborhood cameras, trying to escape a storm. Poor Layla just wanted to find a cozy spot to ride out the weather!

When she was finally rescued off the streets, attempts were made to find her owner. One person claimed to be her owner but later admitted it was a joke-because who wouldn't want a fabulous dog like Layla? "Surprise! I'm not yours; I'm everyone's favorite!

**A Heart Full of Love**
Layla may have faced heartworm treatment, but that hasn't stopped her from sharing her love and joy with everyone she meets. She's a spirited girl who's ready to make the most of life, and soon she'll be back to her playful self, just waiting for that negative test result!

Their adoption process

1.
Submit Application

• 21 years of age • Current pets must be spayed/neutered, UTD on annual exams, heartworm tests, vaccines & consistent heartworm prevention.

2.
Interview

We will have a volunteer call personal and vet references. We will interview applicant if all information provided is accurate.

3.
Home Check

We do in home visit checks or via video chat. Video Chat If adopter lives out of our area, if a volunteer Is unavailable.

Or we help arrange private (or volunteer) transport for your pet if adopter isn’t in our local area.

Additional adoption info

We are all volunteers, but we try to have all applications processed in 7 business days.. If you are approved, then we will send you an adoption contract and transport information. Payment must be made once contract is finalized.
We try to answer all inquiries. If you are interested in a pet the best way to meet that pet is FILL OUT AN APPLICATION. Since we are all volunteers, applicants must be approved before a meet/greet.

Team Memphis Rescue & Support provides assistance to Team Memphis Rescue & Support approved rescues by transporting pets from shelters, boarding facilities, Veterinary clinics and foster homes.
