My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Are you looking for a gentle, demure and quiet lap cat? Beautiful Tara is an adult female cat who would love to be in a peaceful home where she can feel safe, and pampered. She is a bit on the shy side, but quickly warms up with lots of strokes and some delicious cat food! Tara has such soft fur so is a joy to pet. :)

Tara came to Jelly's as a community cat cared for by a local family who brought her to Jelly's Place when she became pregnant. She gave birth here and has nursed 4 beautiful babies and is a great mom! But now it's her turn for some love and she is patiently waiting for a new family to come sweep her off her paws. She went through a bit of trauma due to a few vet visits to fix her teeth and be spayed, and is now in a foster home she shares with 3 cats and 2 dogs. Tara tolerates the dogs, and adores the cat company so would be best in a home with at least one other friendly cat.

Tara is spayed, vaccinated and microchipped. If interested in meeting this sweet cat please complete an application at jellysplace.org. The foster will reach out to you to arrange a visit.
