Who is LOOKING for a dog for their dog? Tunnel is your boy!

Tunnel was found with his siblings in a park absolutely terrified :( Before us he had likely never been in a home and had very little human interaction so he is a very shy guy, BUT he has learned hoomans = foods and pets aren't so bad <3

All he needs is a doggy friend and a hooman with patience and lots of treats A social doggy will help continue to show Tunnel how to "house dog".

About Tunnel: Lab/collie mix that is super dog and cat friendly and loves his toys. He is crate trained and 99% potty trained

Their adoption process

1.
Submit Application

Fill out an adoption form found on the animal's profile at www.straypawsrescue.com

2.
Interview

Once the application is reviewed, it is sent to the foster and they will reach out to you in 1-3 days.

3.
Meet the Pet

The foster will set up a time and place for you to meet the pet. We will also need to meet your resident pets if you have them.

4.
Home Check

We will do a home visit to ensure the foster animal goes to the right home. We will call your landlord if you rent.

5.
Approve Application

We call all 3 references. If you have a resident pet, we will call their vet to confirm they are up to date on vaccinations & altered.

Additional adoption info

All adoption fees are payable the day the contract is finalized.
Please note our adoption fees are as follows:
Puppies 6 months and younger - $325.00
Young adults 7 months-6 years - $300.00
Adults-Seniors: 7 years+ - $200.00
Cats and kittens - $150.00
Pair of kittens - $275.00

PLEASE NOTE OUR ADOPTION REQUIREMENTS
By submitting this application there is no guarantee that we will place a dog or cat with you.
We only adopt to families within 50 miles of St. Louis, MO.

We do not have a shelter. We are foster based only.
All adoptions require a completed application

We are a 501c3 licensed non profit organization in St Louis, Missouri. We are foster based and have a passion for helping the animals who have been dumped and abandoned in St Louis city. We also work hard to help save those in high kill shelters that are scheduled to be euthanized. We believe in that all pets deserve a second chance and that there is a home for everyone.
