Meet Shadow!
Shadow is a sweet and spirited 2-year-old with a heart as big as his love for his favorite people. This three-legged superstar doesn’t let his unique stride slow him down—he’s just a champion in his own special way! Shadow’s ideal day includes snuggling up for naps, munching on yummy treats, and tagging along on errands—because who doesn’t love a little adventure?
Shadow's perfect match is someone who’ll understand his quirks and needs. He’s not a fan of having his shoulder touched, and while he might take a little time warming up to new people, when he knows you’re a friend, his playful and affectionate personality shines. Ease him into introductions slowly, and you’ll earn a lifetime of loyalty from this loving boy.
He’s great with kids (he was best friends with a 4-year-old girl in his previous home), loves other dogs (he had a small doggy roommate he adored), and even gets along with cats. He prefers a harness for walks and is polite in the home. Plus, once he’s comfortable in a car, he’s happy to join the ride!
Shadow does have a sensitive tummy, so he feels best sticking to Pure Balance Dog Food. He’d also love a little help improving on a few behaviors, like barking at strangers and jumping up—he’s just so excited about life!

Each adoption consists of an interview, application, counseling session, and adoption contract. All adoptions are handled on a case-by-case basis, but most adoptions are first-come, first-served, and holds cannot be placed in advance for someone to meet with an animal. All animals are spayed or neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped.
