Kool Aid & Capri Sun are a bonded pair and must be adopted together.
Meet Kool Aid & Capri Sun, an adorable bonded pair of boys! They love to chew their toys and spend quality time relaxing. They're very chill and like to spend the afternoon loafing near each other and you can often find them grooming each other, which is very sweet to see. Kool Aid is the more outgoing of the two and is very friendly. He enjoys any and all types of attention and eagerly waits for you at the front of his pen when you enter the room. Capri Sun takes his time getting to know new people and likes his space. They're like yin and yang!
They're both very gentle and sweet, and like to be pet, especially on their cheeks. They like eating their hay and greens. They're very clean rabbits and have excellent litter habits. They don't really care for toys, but have enjoyed foraging for treats in a snuffle mat and causing chaos in a dig box. Both rabbits will spin around in circles and get very excited for treats.
Kool Aid will have ongoing dental needs. He has had several teeth removed and will likely need routine molar trims. He also has a history of dental abscesses and may need treatment for them, which could include oral antibiotics and/or having the abscess removed. Should Kool Aid require a dental procedure or surgery, HRS will perform them at our facility free of charge.
As part of our Golden Ears program, we'll provide Kool Aid & Capri Sun's adopter with some of the initial supplies needed to get set up, including an x-pen, litter box, and carrier. Kool Aid will also receive complementary veterinary care for routine matters at HRS from our staff veterinarian. Additionally, Kool Aid is eligible to receive free annual RHDV2 vaccination, free lab work, free medications, and a 15% discount at the HRS Hop Shop.
Kool Aid & Capri Sun are neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated against RHDV2 (vaccine needs to be administered annually). We recommend Kool Aid be brought to HRS every few months for a routine exam to make sure he's staying happy and healthy.

More about this rescue
Since 1988, House Rabbit Society, its supporters, small staff, local chapters, licensed educators, and other volunteers around the globe have been advocating for the care and well-being of rabbits.
Our goal is to help people see rabbits as intelligent and social pets who thrive indoors. HRS’ mission, philosophy, and policies have influenced the formation of many other nonprofit rabbit rescue groups and set a standard for the treatment and respect of domesticated rabbits. As a nonprofit, we rely on membership support and other donations–large and small. HRS financial documents are provided below, which record our programmatic efforts over the past decade.
