My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

DIAMOND IN THE RUFF: Fritz found his way to ARF after a good samaritan saw him running on the side of the road with a rusty chain around his neck. His past is unknown, but it was clear he needed help and love. Due to no fault of his own, Fritz has stranger danger. This means new people are terrifying and it can come out with fear-based aggression. Fritz is very intelligent and has been working hard with staff and volunteers. He's come so far, and we are happy to report he is meeting new people (and even dogs) and slowly learning that people aren't so bad. Once Fritz bonds to a person, it's forever. He is loyal, loving, and can be a big goofball at times, especially with his favorite toy, soccer balls! Fritz may not be your best friend right away but if you give this boy some time, he is sure to love you for the rest of his life. FRITZ'S NEEDS: Single animal home * Adult only home * Needs an experienced adopter * Needs multiple meetings before going home* Needs regular mental and physical enrichment *
