DIAMOND IN THE RUFF: Sahteene aka "Teeny" is a beautiful white Shepherd mix who has a smile that will light up any room. She arrived at ARF in late 2018 and went home for about 3 months. Teeny was returned in early 2019 and has been living at the shelter ever since. Sahteene is very smart, a bit silly, and excels in treat catching. She is affectionate and bonds quickly with people, but her trust must be gained first. Depending on the situation, Sahteene is known to have stranger danger. While she can be a cautious dog, Teeny finds her confidence when she is with someone she loves. It doesn't take long for Sahteene to fall in love; just throw a ball, toss a few treats and she'll be your new best friend. She is very dog selective. While there have been a few canines that she's enjoyed playdates with, Sahteene would appreciate a home without any other pets. She knows her basic commands and wants to learn more. Sahteene is a great dog and who needs a patient and understanding owner who can continue her training at home. Give this girl a chance, and she'll repay you in love. SAHTEENE'S NEEDS: 12+ Children * Single Animal Home Preferred * NO Cats * Dog Selective * Needs Multiple Meetings Before Going Home *
