Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Gil, the charming mixed breed with the soulful eyes and kindest smile! Gil stands out at the shelter with his endearing personality and gentle nature. Walking with Gil is a delightful experience, on account of his wonderful leash manners and eagerness to please. He also loves to play fetch and has good interactions with children.
He is remarkably intelligent, and quickly learns new skills with ease. His treat-motivated nature adds an extra layer of fun to training sessions, as he eagerly responds to cues and patiently awaits his reward! He knows commands and is potty trained. He does not do well with cats as he tends to see them more as playmates. As far as dogs go Gil has had many friends at the shelter, however we have noticed that he prefers submissive female dogs. This is the reason he is listed as selective with canine companions. Gil is also a champion snuggle bug and he loves to cozy up in any open lap.
Gil's kind disposition and affectionate nature make him the perfect furry friend for families seeking a devoted companion to share in life's adventures. He also absolutely loves to play in water so he is perfect to take swimming. Come say hello to this sweet boy, he can't wait to meet you!
