Meet Onyx!
What are we looking for in a home for this little fellow.
Someone with a out going dog already in the home that he can be with follow and buddy up with so he can learn to be more confident. We have him with another dog at the shelter and we can see the difference with him being more confident.

Someone who understands shy and timid dogs and working slowly with them to gain there trust. Willing to work with a shy dog and understands you will need time and patients with him.
A family understanding he takes a while to come around to new people.

On going socialization and working with a trainer would be wonderful for him.

Onyx is a very nervous guy, who needs someone who will take the time to work with him and show him the loving he deserves. He is very Anxious & Scared, and will need extra care to help socialize him and help him to feel safe. He is very nervous with new people. We highly recommend a 2nd appointment to help him adjust.

Charlie's Angels Animal Rescue Charlie’s Angels Animal Rescue is a non-profit organization of volunteers dedicated to saving the lives of adoptable dogs and cats who would otherwise die simply because their time is up at shelters in western NC. We accomplish this by placing them into loving, forever homes via a system of transport to reputable rescues and no-kill shelters throughout the United States, as well as local adoptions. Each one is cared for, loved and given everything it needs (food, exercise, socialization, basic training, vetting, vaccinations, heart worm testing and spay/neuter) to become the best possible companion animal it can be! We provide this through our foster families and our Safe Haven until such time they are chosen to go to other rescues, where adoption awaits them, or they are adopted by us into local homes.
