Marvel (little Joey) was a breeder surrender to an OK shelter. He is still a bit underweight but is a small Corgi at 18#. He came to us in desperate need of a dental and neuter. Those things have been recently taken care of and we have noticed his Corgi personality start to emerge. Although he is still a bit hand shy, he loves and craves attention and snuggles. He is nervous in the car but does ok in his crate and sleeps in it as well. He has done well with the foster dogs in his home and another small friendly fur sibling would suit him well but a dominant canine personality in his new home would not be a good fit. He doesn’t know any cues yet and isn’t reliably potty trained but he’s showing a little more focus and is a smart boy who is learning these things quickly with consistency, patience, and cookies. He hasn’t been able to figure out stairs so his yard/potty area needs to be easily accessible. He has zero experience walking on a leash and has quickly learned that he likes walkies but at his own pace right now. Marvel responds well to a sweet voice and treats. He REQUIRES a secure fenced in yard, owners who aren’t gone all day, and Corgi experience. He has not been cat or kid tested so respectful kids 12+ only if any. We believe little Joey is approx 6 y/o but we do not know for sure. If interested in meeting Marvel, THE FIRST STEP is to complete our meet and greet application at https://www.corgisandfriends.com/forms We require the application, home and reference check, and meet with everyone in the home. Marvel is neutered, utd on vaccs, chipped, and HW-. His adoption fee is $400 and we are not doing any out of state adoptions.
