Eve is a compact cutie who loves nothing more than to snuggle her human friends! This little lady is so friendly despite what seems to be a bit of a tough past. She came to the shelter as a stray, and one of our volunteers discovered while petting her that she had been shot with a BB gun. It’s time for Eve to find a home where she’ll never experience anything like that again!! Eve is sweet, silly, and playful- she loves to run zoomies around the play yard and to try to get her kennelmate to play with her. Here’s what volunteers have had to say:
“Eve is such a fun little gal! She is sooooo affectionate- if I take her to a play yard, she spends most of her time right by my side, leaning in for snuggles and giving kisses. She walks well on leash and is a very nice companion. It doesn’t hurt that she’s cute as a button- like a little velvet hippo! I imagine that Eve would be quite the couch potato cuddler in a home!!”
“Eve is the cutest little pittie. She was eager to get treats so she sat pretty for me. I petted her a bit and she enjoyed that.”
“I worked with Eve today on loose leash walking and she responded very well to praise and rewards. She is very treat motivated and began to immediately check in with me without a cue. Eve warmed up quickly and solicited petting while out and enjoyed some quiet time near the lake.”
Eve shares her kennel with another PACC pup and has been playful and social when meeting other dogs in playgroup. She’d like to meet any resident dogs before heading home to make sure it’s a good fit. Ask to meet Eve today!
