This crazy handsome boy is Finnegan! He's the most social guy around and is constantly looking for the next person to pay attention to him! He is affectionate and snuggly and has the absolute cutest chirps and purrs! His previous family described him as shy at first in his home then an affectionate lap cat once he settled! He did well with the kids, dogs and other cats in the home and loves to sleep on people! If you're looking for a lovebug companion, Finnegan is your guy!

Keep in mind: Finnegan is a fluffy, long haired guy and will need some brushing to prevent any painful matting!

We have a simple adoption application and approval process. Our adoption fees vary by animal, but generally include neutering, age appropriate vaccinations, behavior and health assessments, and health insurance. In addition, all adopters have free access to our Adopter Support program for assistance with health or behavior issues that may arise.

Michigan Humane is the oldest and largest animal welfare organization in Michigan, taking in approximately 35,000 animals per year. We have four animal care centers in the Metro area including locations in Detroit, Westland, Rochester Hills and Howell, as well as cat adoption centers in PetSmart stores in several locations and an adoption center at Petco in Sterling Heights.
