Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Van Gogh, a resilient and spirited canine with a tale as inspiring as his namesake. This brave soul, a rescue dog, endured a turbulent past where his ears were tragically severed in a botched procedure, devoid of any comfort or veterinary care. Despite this harrowing ordeal, Van Gogh exudes boundless happiness, his tail wagging so vigorously it seems to stretch from "ear to ear."
At just over a year old and 54 pounds, Van Gogh embodies the true essence of canine resilience. His enduring spirit shines through in his love for life, evident in his affectionate nature and remarkable ability to get along famously with both children and dogs of all sizes. This lovable pup finds immense joy in the company of his family, his heart swelling with contentment when surrounded by their love.
Van Gogh's zest for life extends to his love for car rides, a delightful adventure he eagerly embarks upon. While he cherishes the moments spent with his family, Van Gogh dreams of a home with a backyard, a place where he can frolic and play, basking in the freedom of open spaces. Blessed with a reliable recall, he is a charming companion, ready to shower his forever family with boundless affection and unwavering loyalty. Despite the hardships he has faced, Van Gogh stands as a testament to resilience, teaching us all the power of love and the capacity to find joy in even the most challenging circumstances.
Van Gogh does well in a kennel & sleeps in one at night. He is microchipped, on preventatives, fully vaccinated, & neutered. He is being fostered in Seguin, TX and is ready for his new home.
