My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Peter loves to be with his person at all times, and is a gentle giant. He loves to play with tennis balls, especially ones with squeakers. He recently learned he could play `soccer` with his tennis ball, and would love nothing more than to kick a ball with you all day. Whenever he sees his dinner bowl headed his way, he starts to dance in excitement - he is a goofball who will make his person laugh every day. Peter will save a little bit of every bone and `bury` it in the couch, to save for a rainy day! He loves to play with our dog, so I think he would be alright in a home with another dog, as long as they are introduced slowly.

Animal Care Services (ACS) does not accept online submission of adoption applications. All adoptions are on a first come, first served basis.

1. Tour the kennels and find a pet you’re interested in. The shelter staff can help you get acquainted with your new friend.
2. Bring in the family (even the four-legged members) to meet your prospective pet.
3. Once you've made a decision, head to the ACS Adoption Center to complete your adoption.
NOTE: Adoptions are processed 30 minutes prior to closing time.

Rabies vaccination
Flea and tick prevention
First round of vaccinations
NOTE: Pets under the age of four months will need to be brought back to receive their rabies shots.
