Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Skye! This sweet girl is a Clayton County Animal Control survivor. Her animal control name was "Missy", but this girl is definitely not a Missy, just look at those sky-blue husky eyes! Skye was brought in with a fellow husky, so we know that she is dog-friendly-however, she may be dog selective. She loves people-men,women, children, and is especially good with her 6 year old human foster brother. We aren't sure about cats yet, but she may need to go to a home without them just in case.
A little more about Sky:
-She is about 50 lbs (needs to gain some weight), and approximately 2 years old.
-Spayed and up to date on shots.
-Potty and house trained! She has not had one single accident in her foster family's home, and loves chewing on and playing with her toys.
-Crate trained, but not needed-especially with the toys and exercise that huskies love!
-Skye is a sweetheart who loves to be pet and scratched behind her ears, and will roll over on her back for some belly rubs. She loves affection!
-We would describe her energy level as medium, as far as huskies go. She can hang out and laze around with the best of them, or run around like crazy in the fenced back yard. She is a happy-go-lucky girl!
-Skye was brought into animal control with another husky who was adopted out without her, so she may do well in another husky home, or as a single dog.
-She was left outside at some point for long enough for mites/flies to eat the fur off the tips of her ears. We don't know if the fur will fully grow back, but we think they're super cute anyways, and a reminder of what this sweet girl has overcome in her past.
-Skye sometimes gets vocal, but only the perfect amount! Skye is vetted and current on vaccinations She will be treated for heartworm
