Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Billie Jean was found as a stray in rural east Texas. Probably dumped. Fearful of humans at first, she is coming out of her shell and is realizing that humans are actually really nice! And treats are awesome!!
Best guess is that Billie is about one year old and a Sheepdog-ish, Wolfhound-ish, Doodle-ish mix. She weighs 80 pounds, but might top out at 85-90 pounds. Billie loves the water and will need regular grooming/brushing.
She loves playing with her foster dog siblings and would be happiest in a home with another dog friend similar on size to play with. Because she doesn't know her own strength a home without small children would be best. And she seems a little too interested in cats and rabbits that like to dart and dash!
An appropriate fenced yard is a must and having big dog experience is a bonus. A vet reference is required.
We adopt in the DFW area only (within a 1 hour drive from Terrell) as we deliver our pets to their new homes.
