Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Ralphy is looking for their forever home!
WHAT MY FOSTER SAYS: This affectionate, goofy, and sweet-natured pup is always ready to greet you with enthusiasm and love. Despite his larger size, Ralphy has a soft spot for cuddling and often considers himself a lap dog. If you're looking for a loyal companion who loves snuggles, Ralphy might just be your perfect match. His playful nature and quirky sense of humor will keep you smiling, while his easygoing temperament ensures he gets along with everyone, human or furry.
Ralphy is happiest when he's playing with his favorite toys-pink stuffies and tennis balls-or enjoying his daily walks, where sniffing everything in sight is a must! Though he's a calm couch potato at heart, he needs at least two sniff-filled walks a day to burn off his energy. Ralphy also gets along well with other dogs his size, happily disengaging with a "leave it cue when asked. And don't worry about accidents-this house-trained champ will let you know when he needs to go outside.
Ralphy's intelligence shines through in the variety of commands he already knows, including sit, come, wait for me, find it, and leave it. He's also a great communicator-he'll give you a little nose "boop" when he needs something! His love of food makes him a quick learner, and he's been thriving on training walks with his foster mom, even earning praise from a professional trainer for his excellent leash manners. Recently, he's even started picking up his leash and bringing it to his foster mom-talk about a clever boy!
One of Ralphy's favorite pastimes on walks is sniffing around and occasionally rolling in the grass (which, of course, only adds to his charm). He's crate-trained and often goes to his crate on his own when he's ready for some quiet time. This independent streak shows how much his confidence has grown, especially in new environments. Once he settles in, Ralphy's cheerful, laid-back personality shines through, making him a constant source of joy and comfort.
Ralphy has a special way of winning over everyone he meets. He's a gentle soul, great with children, and greets guests with a warm welcome-though he's still working on his excitement-jumping. He loves meeting new people and always "leans in" for extra affection, showing just how much he adores human connection.
Ralphy is ready to find his forever home! If you're looking for a calm, sweet, and loyal companion who will bring joy, love, and lots of laughs into your life, Ralphy is the dog for you. His big heart is just waiting to be shared with someone special-could that be you?
ATTRIBUTES: Ralphy has done well with dogs his size and larger.
