Meet Simone! We named this 6 month old after the world's best athlete because not only does she make our hearts sing, she is quite the acrobat. No matter how high the furniture, she can scale it! However, kitty Simone may have been having a catnap when gracefulness was being handed out. She gets so wrapped up in play that sometimes she rolls off the bed, or runs into furniture when chasing a toy. Maybe she will grow up to more like Biles. Or maybe she will remain an adorable klutz. Either way, we love her very much, and we know that whoever adopts her will also think that she is the GOAT.

Simone's soft, beautiful fur is entirely black except for a sprinkling of white hairs, mostly at her breastbone. She has gorgeous yellow eyes and gigantic ears that she needs to grow into. She loves to snuggle, especially when she can lie next to you and put her paw on your leg. And of course she loves to play! Her philosophy is "more toys better!" She will try to play with as many as she can get her paws on at once.

Kittens like Simone do best when they have a companion cat, but we think she would also do well in a home with no other cats, as long as her people engage her in a lot of active play. Based on limited interactions with a child at her foster's apartment, we think she could be good for a home with children. Simone is spayed, up to date on vaccines, and has tested negative for FeLV and FIV. She is available for adoption in the NYC area.
