Rescue and Health:
Zuri was an owner surrender her given name was Missouri but we now call her Zuri which she is responding to. We are unsure why she was owner surrendered, she did have a sister at the shelter she was adopted. Zuri sat for a long time so we were called for Rescue Assistance. Zuri is spayed, up to date on vaccinations, flea, tick, heartworm prevention and she is microchipped.
Behavior:
Zuri is a very sweet dog with people, not sure how she is with children. She is dog selective and will fight with other dogs that she does not like, she loves our Puppy and we can only put them out together during play time. It does appear that Zuri had pups in the past so maybe our pup is remind her of her own. Zuri is crate trained and does well in a car. She loves water and playing with her toys although she will shred all of her stuffy toys. We are unsure how she is around cats but could cat test upon request.
Zuri needs a structured home, with someone that can devote their time to her.

All dogs in rescue are temperament tested and have basic obedience implemented as a part of their daily routine. All behavioral issues are dealt with according to each case scenario. All dogs prior to going home are up to date on all vaccinations, spayed and or neutered. Application, home-check, and references must be approved prior to final adoption.
