Chance is one special boy! This baby is one of the most amazing pups we have been blessed to love and care for. He is very bonded to Layla, they are inseparable and spend every waking hour together playing and cuddling. He gets along with all other pups. He does not try to chase the cats but he looks at them with interest. He is kid friendly and loves any human that approaches him. He has a very special place in our hearts and he has been a best friend to our son. If you’re looking for a family pup that will be a loyal friend to your kiddos for life he is your guy. Chance is young, energetic, always happy and loves going for a walk. He is trained to sit, crate trained, house trained and just really enjoys lounging around the house all day. Chance occasionally gets the zoomies but it is the cutest thing ever and tells us its time for outside playtime. He has to sleep with an extra blanket to suck on, it is his comfort. His journey started out being abandoned at a hotel in Yorktown, Texas. He was taken in by a local lady who was not well and had over 20 pets on the property and inside the condemned trailer house. We were slowly working on placement for them because the lady was not well and the conditions was not healthy for any of them. We had been asking if we could take chance and rehome him along with others tied to trees on the property with no water, food or shelter. We continued to be told no, but came everyday to feed, water and care for them. One day we received a call that he was severely injured and they needed our help with medical care. We legally can not assist without a surrender form being signed, so we requested that and they brought him in with the chain still wrapped around his neck and his body tore open and apart. It was the most heartbreaking thing I had seen. He looked so defeated and it hit deep. He was immediately taken back for surgery and had to get a chest tube placed to prevent infection. Chance recovered at the clinic a few days before going to his foster home. He was there a few weeks doing great, thriving, healing and just the happiest boy ever when he took a turn for the worst, He was rough housing with the other pups and his incision opened up. He was rushed in again for another surgery and chest tubes placed again. Seeing that setback in him, the pain and defeat in his eyes, I knew he needed to come home with me to recover once he was released. Chance got to come home with us days later and fully recovered within 4-6 weeks. Please ask us about sponsored adoptions, we have several individuals that help cover part of the adoption fee to an approved applicant only and we have discounts for bonded pair adoptions.CALL OR TEXT 3618944967
