Life is one big party for Lexi and Missy, and they can’t wait for a new family to join in. Lexi and Missy are extremely friendly, sweet, and happy, young girls, full of energy and love. They get along incredibly well and love to romp in the yard together and, especially, play fetch. Lexi and Missy adore human attention and affection, love to cuddle, play silly hand games, and give the sweetest, little kisses. Their exuberant spirits are contagious, and it’s almost impossible not to smile and have fun when with them.

Lexi is a Shih Tzu mix, about 4 years old and 13 pounds. Missy is a Shih Tzu, about 3 years old and 14 pounds. They have learned to walk on leashes, but, since they love to run and play, it would be preferable for their new home to have a fenced yard. Submit Application

The first step in adopting from Shih Tzu Rescue is to fill out an application on our website at shihtzurescue.org

2.
Visit the Facility and Find a Pet

Once your application has been approved we will schedule an appointment for you to visit our shelter and dogs and take home with you.

Additional adoption info

We have an adoption contract that must be completed and approved. We require vet and personal references as well home checks. Our normal response time is approximately 7 to 10 working days. Our Adoption Committee works very hard to place our dogs in environments where they will be most likely to succeed. Please understand that we have more applications than we do dogs and that if you do not hear from us within that timeframe, we currently do not have a dog who we feel would match your needs.

Our fee includes neuter or spay, all shots, and snap test for heartworm/erlichia/lyme. We take care of whatever their medical needs might be before they are adopted. WE ADOPT TO ALL OF FLORIDA AS WELL AS OTHER STATES. WE DO NOT SHIP
