My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Porkchop is a mellow, loving girl, but she is shy with new people. She's outgoing, affectionate, and playful once she knows you, so a potential adopter would need to be willing to spend some time with her in a meet and greet to get to know her...she's definitely worth it. She's the perfect dog to hang out quietly with you and to run around with you in the yard while she has the zoomies!

Porkchop can be dominant with other dogs, but she is open to meeting new friends. Like any dog, she has her preferences! She does need to go to a home with no cats or small animals. Porkchop came to us heartworm positive, but she has been treated and has tested negative since completing treatment.

As well as being heartworm negative, Porkchop is also spayed, microchipped, and up to date on all vaccinations. If you'd like to meet and adopt this beautiful, happy girl, visit al-van.org/adopt to fill out an application.
