Hey there, I'm Chocolate Chip, the luckiest pup around! I was rescued by BDRR from an animal shelter in Citrus County, and boy, am I grateful! They say I have low energy when I'm out and about, but inside the home? Watch out, because I've got energy for days!
I'm not a big fan of cats, and I can get a bit reactive around barriers and on the leash, so it's best if I go home with slightly older kids, around 15 and up, who know the ropes. But don't worry, I'm house-trained and as loyal as they come - a real Velcro dog.
Cuddles and toys? Count me in! I love 'em both. And when it comes to meeting new people, just give me a proper introduction. I can be a bit protective, you know? But once I know you're a friend, I'm all cuddles and tail wags.

If you are interested in adopting a dog from us please visit our website adoptions page to complete an adoption application. at www.bdrr.org/adopt. This will help us make sure we find you the right dog to fit your situation and family. Once you have completed the application, we will contact you to let you know you have been approved and then you will be able to set up an appointment to come and meet dogs you are interested in. Our adoption fees range depending on the dog's breed, age and other factors.
