Meet Ramses, a domestic shorthair brown and white tabby who is 3 years old. Ramses is an extra special boy to us as he has been our resident rescue cat for the past two years. It is now time for him to find his forever home with his BFF teenage kitten protege, Gomez!
Ramses has a friendly demeanour and an independent spirit, Ramses is the ideal companion for anyone who appreciates a perfect balance between affection and personal space. An intellectual at heart, he’s always eager to show off his smarts and observe the world around him with quiet curiousity. Once he trusts you, his loyalty is unwavering—offering companionship that’s both comforting and steadfast.
Ramses is a urinary cat and thrives on a special veterinarian-prescribed diet to maintain his health. He has been in care for two years without any urinary issues, thanks to this consistent diet and care.
But Ramses doesn’t come alone—he is best friends with Gomez a playful and affectionate 8-month-old kitten. This sweet teenage cat brings youthful energy and a curious, loving personality that perfectly complements Ramses’ calm and wise nature. They are a bonded pair and must be adopted together.
Gomez also has a history of feline lower urinary tract disease (FLUTD). He has **fully recovered** from a urinary tract infection he experienced post-neuter, and like Ramses, his long-term health depends on a consistent diet of prescription food. For their continued well-being, both Ramses and Gomez will require lifelong feeding of Hill’s Prescription C/D Multi-care Stress Care—a veterinarian-prescribed diet designed to prevent urinary issues.
If you are interested in adopting this incredible duo, we kindly ask that you consult with your veterinarian** for quotes on the ongoing cost of their prescription food, to ensure it’s a sustainable commitment for your household.
Adopt Ramses and Gomez, and you’ll not only gain two loving, intelligent, and entertaining companions—you’ll be giving a forever home to a pair that’s truly better together.
They are both neutered, fully vaccinated, FIV and FeLV negative, and up to date on parasite prevention. Their adoption fee is $550. To adopt, please submit an adoption application found in the drop down menu on our website.

Most of our cats live in foster homes. Some are available to meet at satellite locations such as Pet Valu and Ren's Depot. A few foster homes are available to meet and greets at their home, or we also do meet and greets at request at our shelter prior to adoption. Most of these results in same day adoptions, and only take place after an adoption interview.
