Roxi is a sweet girl that can be a little shy at first till she gets to know you. She is good with other small dogs she has been around.
House Manners: Knows a doggie door for potty
Basic Training: She is doesn't have any known bad behaviors, but does not know many basic commands
Other Dogs: She has done fine with dogs around her size , not been around many larger dogs
Cats: She should be fine with cats as she is the same size or smaller
Kids: Older Kids with manners and respect that would be gentle with her. Rowdy kids she would likley find scary
Fencing: best to supervise her outside or make a small safe outdoor potty space, she is tiny.
The adoption fee is $150.This dog has had its age-appropriate Vaccinations brought up to date with Rabies shot (4 m & older), heartworm tested (4 m & older) and/or started on prevention, basic de-wormer, spayed or neutered and microchipped with free registration.
Important PLEASE read if interested in adoption:
We have a pretty open adoption policy, apartments, unfenced yards, and young kids are okay, but only if the pet you are interested in is a good fit for that situation!!! Some dogs may require a fence of a certain type and height, due to safety, the breed or known history. We are looking for pet parents that provide vet care such as routine vaccines for their pets and heartworm prevention for dogs. Please understand we do cross check vet references and landowners/landlord policies and cannot process applications with incomplete or incorrect information.
We asked that you take your newly adopted dog for a vet exam in the first 30 days to establish with your vet and obtain their heartworm prevention prescriptions and have a fecal exam administered as some pets may need additional de-womer after leaving our care.

Only submit one app for any of our dogs, your app will be on file for at least 1 year. This questionnaire simply helps inform us if the dog you are interested in might match your families' dynamics based on what we have learned about that dog.
