My story

This is Mike! UPDATE: 7/20/10 PLEASE CHECK OUT MIKE’S VIDEO, he is feeling a little more relaxed since the staff moved him into a quieter room and then I shut myself up with him in another room and he was fine as long as I was in there with him. Unfortunately Mike is not adjusting to his life here at the vet’s office. He is very scared to be here and just hides underneath the newspaper in his cage. He is actually a very friendly, social and affectionate cat towards people; he is just scared of his surroundings. He has been here for weeks now and is not adapting very well. So I am concerned about him. He does not want to leave his cage; if you take him out he jumps right back in. He is a very large handsome boy and REALLY, REALLY needs someone to give him his forever home. He was dumped on an ex-employees doorstep and she could not keep him so she brought him here to be euthanized. The vet would not destroy such a beautiful young boy, so I put him up for adoption. Please if anyone wants a wonderful adult cat that would be so grateful for rescuing him from this scary place, Mike is the one for you. He has the coolest markings, too, not your typical striped tabby and of course there is that face. He is just a couple of years old and just has so much love to give. Oh and one more thing he came to is already neutered so he did have a home at one time, which probably explains why he is so afraid, he just does not understand what is happening and what happened to the only life he ever knew. He seems to be scared of the dogs, so that is why I checked a home without dogs.

Before the cat is adopted he wil receive all the necessary vaccinations after being tested for FeLV/FIV, checked for parasites and fleas and treated if need be.
