Hi! My name is Felix and I am an extremely handsome tuxedo kitty who is always dressed in my best. I was returned to CAWS with my sister Penelope through no fault of our own. All this change has me feeling pretty scared and shy but I promise once I get settled and used to a new home and person, I am a very sweet kitty with a lot of love to give. I should also mention that I love mousse sticks and kitty treats and wet food! I hope to have a lot of that in my future home along with my sister Penelope. She is more outgoing than I am and I know you will love her too. Is there room in your home and heart for my sister and me? We are the bestest kitties. Since we make a lifetime commitment to any animal that comes into our program, we only adopt out animals to people in our area..

If you are interested in adopting a CAWS cat or dog, please fill out the online application at http://www.caws.org/application/, email adopt@caws.org or call 328-4731. For the most timely response applying online is recommended.

We respond as quickly as possible but as we are a volunteer based organization and do not have full time staff, we respond as quickly as possible.

CAWS does not have a conventional shelter facility - all CAWS animals waiting for adoption are in foster homes. The number of animals we can help find new homes for is closely linked to how many CAWS foster homes are available. CAWS volunteers bring cats and dogs to the PetSmart near 2100 South and 300 West in South Salt Lake on the third and fourth weekends of each month

We are also at the Sugarhouse PETCO (1165 Wilmington Ave) the first Saturday of each month.
