15 month old MercyMe is looking for a new home only because her broken hearted owner's health has declined to the point that it is only fair that this exceptional basset girl find someone who could really let her blossom. MercyMe loves everyone and everything, but she can be very "in your face" with new dogs, and will need to be taught that not everyone appreciates all her kisses and hugs! She is crate trained, of European and Brazilian lines, and you could not find a sweeter basset girl anywhere. Please note: We do NOT routinely adopt to families with children under 8 years old. Due to some very unfortunate circumstances in the past, we adhere to this policy strictly. That does not mean this dog is aggressive in any way - because she is NOT, MercyMe is spayed, current on core vaccines, flea preventative, and heartworm preventative.
