My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

Look at this beautiful ginger boy!! Nemo is the total package. He is sweet and loves attention, gets along with other kitties and like to play. He is a talkative boy. He will come running up to you with his signature meow as if he is telling on some of his playmates or letting you know that he missed you! Nemo and his 3 siblings were found in a boat that was being stored at a local shop. They were so tiny, about 3 weeks old and starving. They quickly learned how to eat on their own and joined the shelter crew. However,  Nemo was diagnosed with FIP on Nov 17, 2023. He was a very sick little boy, but we were able to start him on the GS meds right away. With the help of FIP Global group, we made it through his 84 days of shots, and another 84+ days of Observation. On June 4, 2024 he was declared CURED of this disease that was 100% fatal just a few years ago.

Nemo is now healthy and has grown to a whopping 9 lbs. Nemo's former condition only means that his annual exams and blood work will be important in keeping him healthy.

The Adoption fee      includes spay/neuter, up-to-date  vaccines, deworming, flea preventative, and a microchip.

More about this rescue

Little Orphan's members are dedicated to the well-being of all animals we encounter. Dismayed by the numbers of cats and dogs housed in shelters and euthanized each and every year, we have an active spay/neuter assistance program and ensure as best we can that each animal adopted through our program has truly found a "forever" home.
