Little Brenda is not so little. Born in 2016 she’s a bit older but still has many good years left and she doesn’t want to spend them living in a shelter. She is a sweet but shy girl who hides sometimes and would benefit from a quiet house. Sometimes you will find her in the bottom of a cat tree or in the linen closet but if you approach her slowly she will welcome pets. If you would like to give this shy lady a chance come meet her today!
Come meet me at the cage-free Adoption Center! All cats are spayed or neutered, vaccinated and tested for FIV/FeLV. **If interested in adopting me, please fill out an online adoption application at https://colonycats.org/adoption_app.html to expedite the process. Due to the large number of inquiries received, we are unable to respond to emails quickly.** Feline Immunodeficiency Virus positive cats can live normal lives both in quality and duration. They do take special care in terms of monitoring them for signs of infection. FIV can be passed from cat to cat via deep bite wounds, but not from casual contact so positive cats can live with negative cats without the fear of spreading FIV as long as they get along and are spayed/neutered. For more information about FIV – feline immunodeficiency virus visit this website: https://bestfriends.org/resources/fiv-cats-faqs-feline-immunodeficiency-virus
