Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Yolanda has not completed her vetting. She has not yet been spayed due to having had a litter of 4 pups just 6wks ago! She did test Heartworm positive- it was caught early, and she shows no symptoms. Treatment will consist of 30 days of Antibiotics which will be completed by the end of Oct. She will then take a 30-day break from treatment. On day 60 she gets an injection at the vet, another injection on days 90 and 91. Then back to the vet a month later for spay. That’s it - 3 trips to the vet!
Behaviors: Spunky, Playful, and love to love on you.
Cats: in the past she hasn’t done well with them in the house, but with her foster, TBD
Other dogs: she is inquisitive and may back down if a pup is larger than her. She has kind of a big dog personality so smaller pups may be intimidated. She is one of the few that would probably make a great only dog! But a larger than her dog that is playful and can keep up with her terrier energy would be awesome as she loves to play tug of war and play wrestle!
Loves People very friendly and wants attention and to be part of the family.
Children: looooves kiddos and cuddles!
Potty Training Progress: No accidents in the house and goes outside 💁🏻♀️💁🏻♀️💁🏻♀️. She even does well on a leash for walkies!
Other behavioral info:
She will HUSTLE HARD for food 🤣🤣🤣
She is great playing on her own and does the cutest thing where she will throw up her toy and goes to grab it!
Great things about Yolanda: Yolanda is very sweet but can also be spicy.
She had her litter of pups back in August and has been weaned and working off her puppy pregnancy weight (aren’t we all?!)
Other things to know about Yolanda:
She doesn’t exactly understand the hierarchy when coming into a home with other pups or kitties so Yolanda will likely do best being the ONLY animal in her home.
